The Brazos Super Tuned magazines began as an STI tube and then a Grams spring/follower kit was added. Then a Dawson basepad was added. The parts were assembled and tuned for reliability and maximum capacity by Brazos.Tube dimensions (inside and out) are set for maximum feeding reliability. Lips of the tube are set to optimum specifications and polished. All sharp edges are rolled. The tube is polished both inside and out to a high gloss, slick finish. Magazines are tuned to fit the U.S.P.S.A. gauge and will hold 20+1 rounds of 40 cal or 21+1 rounds of 38 Super. Maximum capacity is achieved with either the Dawson basepad. The Dawson basepad is made of aluminum. I prefer the tool-free on/off feature of the Dawson pads. These magazines are in like new condition. In fact, there's no scratches.
