 Army Gebirgsjager Oberstleutnant Canvass BlouseArmy Gebirgsjager Oberstleutnant Canvass Field Blouse. the blouse is an approx. size 38 and is made of olive/tan canvass. it features a dark blue/green wool collar, with two eyelets and hooks, French cuffs, a six button, vertical closure, and four scallop flap, pleated pockets. it retains all of it's original pebbled, alloy buttons. the collar features a set of machine sewn, hand embroidered silver/aluminum collar bars, with two light green, horizontal silk cords, with a dark blue/green wool backing. the shoulder boards are slip-on style, and are made gray/aluminum Russian braid, with a single gilded alloy pip, with light green wool backing, and are held in place via a pebble finished button. the right sleeve features a machine woven Gebirgsjager edelweiss arm badge, which is machine stitched to the sleeve. the right breast features a machine woven, flat wire army breast eagle above the breast pocket. the left breast pocket features three sets of award loops. the tunic is unlined, and retains two aluminum belt hooks. the blouse is completely untouched, and is free from holes, tears or damage. the top edge of the left French cuff shows where the blouse one had a cufftitle, which has been removed, and has left a slight shadow from where it once was. this is a fine example of a canvass officer's field blouse, and is in overall excellent condition.
