The cap is an approx. size 56 and is made of ribbed light/brown wool/rayon blend material, with a brown velvet centerband and light/blue wool piping. The cap features a classic saddle shape, with a high front. It is complete with a set of die-stamped alloy, gilded political cap insignia, with a political style cockade. The cap is complete with the correct political gilded bullion wire chin cords. However the side buttons are not present, and do need to be added. The visor is made of brown fiber, with a brown cross hatched underside. It is lined with golden rayon lining, and is complete with the celluloid sweat diamond. The sweat band is made of brown alkor, and retains it's RZM label under the sweet band. The cap shows moderate wear from period use, with moth nips on the top piping, and some soiling from storage and use.
