Prussian Garde Pionier Officer's Pickelhaube

M-1895 Prussian Garde Pionier Bataillon Officer's Pickelhaube With Parade Bush. The pickelhaube is uncleaned, and retains a beautiful patina. It looks to be of wartime construction circa 1914/1915 and is an approx. size 57 It is made of black lacquered fiber, with silver frosted fittings. The Prussian Garde eagle front plate is stunning, and features a massive, vaulted Garde star (Order Of The Black Eagle) The spike, spike base, pear ring, front visor trim, rear spine, and rosettes are all finished with a silver wash, and retain their original, uncleaned finish. The chinscales are complete with the leather tongue, and buckle. The helmet also is complete with both the officer's style Prussian, and Reichs kokarden. The chinscales and spike base star studs are gilded brass, and are also uncleaned, with their original finish. The front visor has a green underside, while the rear has a red underside. The helmet is complete with it's original inside lining. The sweat band portion is made of soft, tan glove leather, with a pale-green silk two piece top portion. The helmet is complete with it's black Buffalo hair parade bush, and silver finished trichter. The helmet is free from any damage, with no extra holes. It is uncleaned, and untouched. The overall condition is very good+ GMA-7036
