Dr. Hazelwood is a Chiropractic Physician and is very passionate about "Teaching the Art of Wellness". She uses a holistic approach in her practice offering a variety of services; including, chiropractic, therapeutic massage, nutrition, weight loss and detoxification programs. She has spent the last few years teaching and coaching patients, helping them to design wellness programs which are tailored to their individual needs. During that time, she has helped many patients achieve their goals. Her primary focus is getting to the root of their problem; she does not just treat symptoms. Her goal is to help assist patients in their wellness journey and helping them learn how to balance the mind, body and spirit. Dr Hazelwood's customized programs have been proven to work in her own health, as well as, her patients. She has a great deal of compassion for her patients because she understands the nature of their problems. Dr. Hazelwood chose the chiropractic profession based on her own experience with chiropractic care. Patients that are willing to implement these changes in their everyday life have proven to achieve optimal results, through the use of chiropractic care, nutritional support, along with making lifestyle modifications. Dr. Hazelwood has spent the last few years researching and utilizing all the tools and techniques formulated in this unique healthcare program. She designed these programs based on her own success with these tools and techniques. Now her goal is to share this success with anyone who is willing to make a commitment to succeed. Associations and Achievements Dr. Hazelwood graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in April 1997. She is formerly from Southeast Missouri and moved to the St. Charles area to complete her Doctorate Degree. She attended Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri and received an Associate Arts degree in General Academics. She continued her undergraduate education at Southeast Missouri State University and completed her Bachelor of Science Degree, in Human Biology, at Logan College. Dr. Hazelwood spent her last 18 months of college in a residency program at a local St. Charles clinic. After graduation, she worked as an associate in the Creve Coeur area for 2 years. She then began her own freelance company offering vacation and sick relief for local Chiropractors in the surrounding St. Louis areas. Her adjusting skills are well rounded with extended education in techniques, such as; Cox-flexion-distraction, SOT- Sacral-Occipital Technique, Nimmo-Trigger Point Therapy and Rehabilitation. In 1997, she also received her Diplomat in the theoretical and practical phases of Bio-Energetic Synchronization Technique, also known as BEST. In January of 2000, she opened her own wellness clinic and recently moved and expanded her current office. Currently, Dr. Hazelwood is writing her first book entitled, "Healthy Solutions" and plans to have it published in the near future.

MembershipsDr. Hazelwood has a very warm and outgoing personality. Therefore, she is very active in her community. She has affiliations with many groups and organizations including, chair person for the American Cancer Society (ACS). She has participated in many fund raisers including the American Heart Association (AHA). She serves as a facilitator for ESPW (Encouraging, Supporting & Promoting Women). She is also a member of eWomen Networking group and the St. Peters Chamber of Commerce and Church on the Rock. |

Personal/Professional Passions

Teaching people how to take charge of their own healthcare needs and showing them how to learn to listen to their own bodies. Acting as a positive role model to all those around her. Sharing life lessons and all that she has learned on her own personal wellness journey with friends and patients; writing, reading, sampling a little taste of everything life has to offer, gardening, decorating, traveling, meditating, exercising, yoga, enjoys nature and nurturing the soul.

Future Aspirations To live in a cabin deep in the woods by a trickling stream; this will enable her to enjoy all the peace and tranquility that nature has to offer, while pursuing her future aspirations of a writing and lecturing career and taking care of herself - mind, body, spirit.

Family Dr. Hazelwood has two children and one grandson. Her daughter has joined forces with her and is a massage therapist in her office. Her son is very athletic and has a dream of becoming a professional baseball player. She enjoys spending quality family time together and sharing dreams, goals and aspirations.
