Christine started making homemade quilts for her children, family, and friends over 26 years ago. Peter was delighted with his red, white, and blue quilt for his new bunk bed.

Jeffrey's love was froggies so he was thrilled when mommy made him his first quilt filled with frogs.

Tiger Kids started as a small cottage business in 1993. Christine incorporated (LLC) the company in 1999.
Christine integrated her sewing experience with her 25 year background in nursing. She decided to apply the work research psychologists have done on infant visual acuity to her quilting. This research indicates that infants respond strongly to bright colors, that such colors stimulate a greater mental awareness. This is the reason why Christine makes her quilts with such bright colors and busy themes.
Each quilt is hand signed assuring its quality and originality. All quilts are one of a kind or a variation of a theme with different trims and backings so that no two are alike!
Christine puts love into making each and every quilt and hopes you will treasure them in years to come as family heirlooms.
