Candle PlateThere is something magical about candle light, especially in Charleston's historic venues. This reception featured a different candle centerpiece on every table. We used a variety of pillar and votive candles raised on a glass plate accented with white and purple lilac. Rooms with many windows, exposed brick or natural wood walls really get a great glow from candles. Remember to consider your season, however. A candle themed event in June is not a great idea as it won't get dark until after dinner! |
