Divine Mercy Image in stained glass

This window of what is called the Divine Mercy Image is based on a traditional painting of the vision of Sister Faustina. Because the painting is similar to an icon there was little leeway allowed for making adjustments to it in order to adapt it to the characteristics of stained glass. The difficult task of translating this design into stained glass was accomplished well as this picture shows.

This religious themed window is not in a church but was built especially for a family chapel in the home of our client in Chicago, IL.

A similar rendition of this icon has also been created for St. Joseph Catholic Church in Frankfort, IL, and for another private chapel in a home in rural South Dakota.
