Edgar Miller glass for the handmade Chicago homeEdgar Miller has been described as Chicago's Renaissance man. He was active in a wide variety of artistic areas during the first half of the 20th Century. He is perhaps most known for the Chicago homes he designed and built that included his handmade sculpture, carved woodwork, stained glass, ceramic tiles and fabric art throughout them. These casement window panels were discovered in the basement by our client. They were not part of the original house and were in poor condition. When our client recognized what they had found they asked us to restore and conserve them. The result is shown here. These unique panels are now on display in our client's house in Chicago. |
