4. Citadel Of Faith Covenant Church, DetroitThe symbols in the windows at Citadel Of Faith Covenant Church depict subjects important to the Christian faith and to the Citadel Of Faith Covenant Church in particular.
In this window the crown of thorns and the royal crown represent Jesus.
A citadel is a fortress or strong tower. The castle-like building sitting upon the rock represents the Citadel Of Faith. The design is based on the building style of Blanchard Hall, the administration and main classroom building at Wheaton College. The grape vine and grape clusters represent the essential relationship between Jesus and His followers.
